Sinopsis

Dia adalah orang termuda yang menempati posisi pertama dalam ujian negara, namun dia terpilih menjadi suami sang putri. Saat upacara pernikahan mereka, sang putri tiba-tiba meninggal. Kehidupan Sim Jung Woo berubah dan dia menjadi orang yang paling malang. Menurut adat pada zaman Joseon, dia tidak boleh menduduki jabatan pemerintahan dan tidak boleh menikah lagi. Dia kemudian terlibat dengan Jung Soon Deok.
Jung Soon Deok adalah seorang janda yang mendiang suaminya adalah putra kedua dari wakil perdana menteri pertama. Dia diam-diam menjalani kehidupan lain dengan nama samaran Yeo Joo Daek. Sebagai Yeo Joo Daek, dia bekerja sebagai mak comblang dan juga penjual barang-barang wanita seperti kosmetik dan aksesoris. Dia adalah mak comblang terbaik di ibu kota Hanyang. Sim Jung Woo dan Jung Soon Deok terlibat satu sama lain dan mereka mencoba untuk menikahkan pria dan wanita lajang yang lebih tua sebagai mak comblang.
